Service history: PhoM3c Thomas J. Santino served with CASU-2 (Carrier Aircraft Support Unit Two) at Barber's Point, Hawaii from the summer of 1942 until 16 December 1944, when he reported aboard the USS Enterprise. He was aboard ship in time to take part in the invasions of Iwo Jima and Okinawa.
