Service history: After an eight and half years in the United States Air Force, four years of it in Europe, George accepted an appointment with the Air Force Foreign Technology Division (now known as the National Air & Space Intelligence Center) at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base from which he retired in 1994 following 38 years of federal service.
