Service history: Captain William C. Kruckemeyer flew with the 388th Transportation Company, 189th Transportation Battalion, 1st Aviation Brigade at Vung Tau and Saigon. Captain Kruckemeyer was qualified on the UH1-B “Iroquois” (the venerable “Huey”), AH1-G “Cobra”, OH6-A “Osage”, and OH58-A “Kiowa” helicopters.
