Rank: Staff Sergeant

Service history: After enlisting in the Cavalry in March 1941, SSg Harley transferred to the Signal Corps. He was eventually assigned to the 3325th Signal Information and Monitoring Company and served in the European Theater of Operations. He was honorably discharged in November 1945.
