Service history: Sergeant Harley D. Griffiths landed with the 4th Infantry Division on UTAH Beach on D-Day. He also fought in the Battle of the Hürtgen Forest and the Battle of the Bulge, and was later awarded the Bronze Star medal while serving in Patton’s 3rd Army.
